If you get up too early, go back to bed. Like most people, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night. Usually I can go back to sleep within a few minutes. But sometimes my mind immediately jumps and starts thinking about new blog post ideas. Or the problem I’m dealing with. Or it starts planning for the future. This keeps me awake for quite some time.
Reduce tension in social situations.
I’ve found that the best way to get my mind out of the thoughts bouncing around there is to focus on my breathing.
